Skip Redford
MENTAL COACH
Skip has been a golf coach for over 25 years. He specializes in teaching the mental and physical factors that influence the attainment of increasing athletic skills and performance for golfers of all levels.
Skip earned a B.S. degree in Physical Education from the University of Alabama and a Master's Degree in Sport Psychology from San Diego State. He played on the football and golf teams while attending the university.
While playing for the U. of A., Skip learned valuable coaching techniques from the famous football coach, Paul 'Bear' Bryant. Skip now uses these techniques and this specialized information
in training clients -- which has proved instrumental in the success of his own clients.
Skip holds a 4TH degree Black Belt Master level in Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art.
His study of martial arts for over 20 years has provided Skip with the requisite skills
for teaching focus, power,breathing, relaxation, and visualization techniques that relate to the mental and physical aspects of golf performance.
Skip has caddied professionally on the PGA and Canadian tours, giving him insight into the world of professional golf and
provided him with the information necessary to develop a complete golf program to meet the mental and physical demands of the professional golfer.
